Another victory for Rafa at Rogers Cup after he defeated Marinko Matosevic of Australia in straight sets: 6-2, 6-4 after one hour and 20 minutes of play and he is now in semifinals.

After the match, Rafa said: "I think I played well. I played a positive match. To win 6-2, 6-4 against a tough opponent, it`s impossible to play bad.. I`m happy with the way I played. To start the hard court season like this with semifinals is a great start."

In semifinals, Rafa will play against Novak Djokovic of Serbia. On head to head, Rafa leads Djokovic: 20-15. Their last match was this year at Roland Garros where Rafa won in 5 sets: 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7, 9-7.

About this semifinal, Rafa said: "It is not a prolbem for me. I`m happy the way the way that I am playing this week, I`m going to fight for the match tomorrow. I`m excited to play against a very tough opponent, one of the best, the best today. I need to play my best tomorrow if I want to have any chance."
