It`s now or never

Rafa managed to reach the final after he won against Andy Murray in 4 sets: 6-4, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

So, it`s going to be another final against Novak Djokovic. The 6th final this year against the serbian. Rafa lost 5 finals against Djokovic this year, a big number, 5 trophies lost. It is too much if Rafa loses again in a Grand Slam final, against the same opponent, in the same year after he lost the Wimbledon trophy against Djokovic this summer and another 4 ATP Master 1000 finals.

The final is scheduled tonight and the overall score between Rafa and Djokovic is 16-12 for Nadal. IT`S NOW OR NEVER !!!

After a well earned vicotry against Muller in 3 sets, Rafa had a powerful opponent in quarters and that was Andy Roddick.

But, Rafa played awsome yesterday and won in a 3 easy set match against the american: 6-2, 6-1, 6-3 after one hour and 53 minutes.

In semifinals, Rafa will play against Andy Murray. So it`s going to be another semifinal against Murray after Roland Garros and Wimbledon. Let`s hope that the result will be the same like in Paris or London. The overall score between Rafa and Murray is 12-4 for Rafa.

Rafa managed to beat David Nalbandian in 3 sets: 7-6, 6-1, 7-5 for a place in 4th Round at U.S. Open. As you can see the first and the third set were vey difficult but it is very important for Rafa to win a match in three set and conserve the energy for the next battles.

So, Rafa reached to 4th Round where he will play against Gilles Muller of Luxembourg. The overall score between Rafa and Muller is 2-1 for Rafa.

Rafa in 3rd Round at US Open

After a tough 1st Round against Golubev, Rafa played against Nicolas Mahut of France in 2nd Round.

Rafa won against the french player after he retired from the game because of a muscular problem when the score was: 6-2, 6-2 for Nadal.

So, Rafa is in the 3rd Round at Flushing Meadows where he will play against David Nalbandian of Argentina.
The overall score between Rafa and Nalbandian is tied at 2. A good opportunity for Rafa to take the lead.
