Rafa - King in Barcelona

The king of clay did it again. Rafa won his seventh title in Barcelona after he defeated David Ferrer of Spain in straight sets: 7-6, 7-5 after 2 hours and 40 minutes.

It is unbelievable what Rafa is doing on clay. The words are useless.

Rafa dismissed Verdasco and reached to the last act in Barcelona. Nadal won the semifinal very easy in straight sets: 6-0, 6-4 after only one hour and  25 minutes.

In the last act, Rafa will play against another spanish player, David Ferrer. Nadal leads Ferrer on head to head: 13-4. So, it`s going to be another final against Ferrer in Barcelona like in 2011. Last year, Rafa won in straight sets: 6-2, 6-4 after one hour and 49 minutes.

After strong victories against Robert Farah (6-2, 6-3) and Janko Tipsarevic (6-2, 6-2) Rafa is now in semifinals in Barcelona where he will play against Fernando Verdasco of Spain.

Nadal leads 12-0 on head to head against Verdasco. Their last match was last year at ATP World Tour Masters in Cincinnati when Rafa had a tough match but he won in 3 sets: 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 after 3 hours and 38 minutes.

Easy victory in Barcelona

Rafa won his 2nd round match in Barcelona against Garcia-Lopez in straight sets: 6-1, 6-2  after only one hour and 21 minutes.

In 3rd round, Rafa will play against Robert Farah of Colombia. This will be the first match between Rafa and Farah.

RAFA - KING IN MONTE CARLO !!!

Rafa won his eighth consecutive trophy at Monte Carlo Rolex Masters after he defeated Novak Djokovic of Serbia. Despite the fact that it was a final, this match was at Rafa`s discretion.

This was the first tournament on clay for Nadal this year and he did not lose any set. So, this final was also a straight set victory: 6-3, 6-1 for Rafa after only one hour and 19 minutes.

As you can see, Rafa Nadal - King in Monte Carlo since 2005.

After a straight set victory against Gilles Simon of France, Rafa is in the final at Monte Carlo Rolex Masters.

A classic final, because the next opponent is Novak Djokovic. The words are useless. Let`s keep this trophy and stop Novak`s domination.

Rafa defeated Stanislas Wawrinka in qaurters at Monte Carlo Rolex Masters in straight sets: 7-5, 6-4 after one hour and 47 minutes. The match was difficult, Nadal was tested by Wawrinka especially in  first set.

Rafa reached to semifinals and he will play against Gilles Simon of France who defeated Jo-Wilfired Tsonga in quarters. The overall score is 4-1 for Rafa, the last match was in 2010 at US Open when Rafa won in 3 sets: 6-4, 6-4, 6-2.

Rafa won in straight sets the match against Kukushkin at 1 and he is in quarters at Monte Carlo Rolex Masters and his record is 41 victories and only one defeat, but that was long-long time ago in 2003 against Corria.

In 2nd Round, Rafa will play against Jarkko Nieminen of Finland. The overall score between them is 6-0 for Rafa. The last match between Nadal and Nieminen was last year on this tournament when Nadal won in straight sets: 6-2, 6-2.
