King in Indian Wells !
Rafa made history after he defeated Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina in Indian Wells final in 3 sets: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 after 2 hours and 29 minutes of play with 33 winners and 27 unforced errors.
This victory was his 600th match win and his 22nd ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown.
After this great effort, Rafa announced that he will not be present at Sony Open Tennis in Miami. So, the next tournament in Rafa`s schedule is Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters. The tournament starts on April 13.

Indian Wells final
Awesome result for Rafa after he defeated Tomas Berdych in straight sets: 6-4, 7-5 in one hour and 43 minutes and reached to BNP Paribas Open final.
In first set, at 3-3 Rafa made the break and leaded 5-3 after he won his serve. In the end, Rafa won the first set (6-4) after 42 minutes with 9 winners and 12 unforced errors.
At 3-4, in second set, Rafa lost his serve and to remain in the second part of the semifinal he was forced to make the break. And Rafa did it, he rebreaked immediately and tied the score at 5 after he won his serve.
At 5-5, Rafa made another break and served to win the semifinal.
Rafa won the second set (7-5) and the match with 16 winners and 25 unforced errors.
In Indian Wells final, Rafa will play either Novak Djokovic of Serbia or Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina.

Rafa is 100% back
"More than a successful return" said the comentator after Rafa defeated Roger Federer in quarters at BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Rafa won in straight sets: 6-4, 6-2 after one our and 24 minutes.
Rafa made the break at 3-3 and leaded 5-3 in first set after he won his game. In the end, Rafa won the first set: 6-4 after 46 minutes.
He started perfectly the second set, he made the break and leaded 2-0 after he won his serve. At 2-0, it was another break for Nadal but Federer rebreaked immediately and the score was 3-1.
At 4-2, Rafa made once again the break and won the second set (6-2) and the match.
Rafa won his first blockbuster after his return and reached for seminfinals in Indian Wells.
In semifinals, Rafa will play against Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic. On head to head, Rafa leads Berdych: 12-3. The last match between Rafa and Berdych was in 2012 in Rome. Nadal won in straight sets: 6-4, 7-5.

Rafa ready for the clash
Rafa defeated Ernests Gulbis of Latvia in 3 sets: 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 after 2 hours and 20 minutes and he is ready for the quarterfinal clash. Nadal will play against Roger Federer.
Nadal leads the career series: 18-10 and this will be the first meeting after 12 months.

Rafa in 4th round
Rafa is in 4th round at BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells after Leonardo Mayer of Argentina retired due to some back problems.
In 4th round, Rafa will play either Andrea Seppi of Italy or Ernests Gulbis of Latvia.

Rafa@Indian Wells
Rafa made a succesful return on hard court after he defeated Ryan Harrison of United States in straight sets: 7-6, 6-2 after one hour and 34 minutes.
After this important victory, Rafa is in 3rd round where he will play against Leonardo Mayer of Argentina. On head to head, Rafa leads Mayer: 2-0. Their last match was this year in Acapulco quarterfinal where Rafa won in straight sets: 6-1, 7-5.

After Brasil Open, Rafa won another tournament: Abierto Mexicano. So, Rafa won the trophy in Acapuclo after he made a perfect match against Ferrer. He defeated Ferrer in straight sets: 6-0, 6-2 after only one hour and 5 minutes.
Congratulations, Rafa !!!
This is the most impressive performance of the season so far and this is the the 12 victory in 13 matches after his return. Well done !
After he won the trophy Rafa said: "This was a great week for me and today I played exceptionally well, I dominated the game against the world No. 4 and couldn`t be happier, especially when I think where I`m coming from. Perhaps the conditions were in my favour but I feel it was maybe one of the best matches of my career."
The next tournament in Rafa`s schedule is Indian Wells. The tournament starts on March 7.

Rafa in Acapulco final
Important victory for Rafa in Acapulco. He defeated in straight sets: 7-5, 6-4 Nicoals Almagro of Spain after one hour and 48 minutes and he will play the final in Mexico.
In Abierto Mexicano final, Rafa will play against David Ferrer of Spain. The overall score between Rafa and Ferrer is 16-4 for Nadal. Their last match was in 2012 in Roland Garros semifinal. Nadal won in 3 sets: 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.

Rafa in semifinals
Rafa defeated Leonardo Mayer of Argentina in quarters at Abierto Mexicano, Acapulco in straight sets: 6-1, 7-5 after one hour and 41 minutes.
So, after another victory in Acapulco, Rafa is in semifinals where he will play agianst Nicolas Almagro who is seeded No. 3.
On head to head, Rafa leads Almagro: 8-0. Their last match was last year in quarterfinals at Roland Garros.
