Twice better
Rafa reached the final act at Australian Open after he defeated Roger Federer in 4 sets: 6-7, 6-2, 7-6, 6-4.
Federer started the match more confident and won the first set at tie-break after he leaded Nadal with 4-1, but Rafa responded and pushed the game to tie-break. Rafa admited that Roger was more aggresive in the beginning of the match.
The pressure of losing the first set didn`t affect Rafa that`s why he won in style the second set: 6-2. The 3rd and 4th set were tough for Nadal because Federer even if he showed that is a little bit tired, he played well.
Despite all the facts, Rafa demonstrated once again that even if he is not the best shape, plays awsome in the important matches.
His best result here is when he won the trophy in 2009 against the same opponent that he won today. A semifinal like a final. Well done, Rafa !!!
After this big victory the overall score between Rafa and Roger is 18-9 for Rafa. So, twice better! :)
In the final act in Melbourne, Rafa will play either Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray.

Rafa, the gladiator
Rafa fought like a gladiator against Berdych. Nadal eliminated No. 7 ATP, Tomas Berdych after a great fight. Nadal lost in this quarterfinal his first set at this Australian Open, but he managed to advance in semifinals after 4 hours and 16 minutes (6-7, 7-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Tough match, but everyone expected that, including Rafa. The start was a little bit slow, when Rafa lost at tie-break his first set at this Grand Slam. After this first set, the match was more balanced and in the end Rafa was unstoppable showing a great form, physically speaking.
