Rafa was hard tested

As we all expected, Rafa had a tough match against del Potro. Rafa won in 4 sets against Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina: 7-6, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 after almost 4 hours !

After the first set, Rafa had some medical problems at his left foot, but he continued as a real gladiator and won his 4th Round match.

After the injury moment, del Potro won the second set, but after that, Rafa came back and won the 3rd and 4th set after a hard work. A big advantage for Rafa today was the service, he served really well.

After this important victory, Rafa is in quarterfinals at Wimbledon where he will play against Mardy Fish of United States of America. The overall score between Rafa and Fish is 5-0 for Rafa.

Rafa is set for the clash

Rafa won his 3rd Round match at Wimbledon against Muller in three sets: 7-6, 7-6, 6-0. As you can see the first and the second set were very tough for Rafa to win.

Muller played really well and it`s normal to be that way, the pressure was on Rafa`s shoulders and every opponent wants to demonstrate that has no problem to play a good tennis against the number one player in the ATP rankings.

After this victory, Rafa is in 4th Round where he will have a difficult match against Juan Martin del Potro. So, a matcg against a strong player who wants to recover all he lost in the period when he was injured.

The match is scheduled on Monday. The overall score between Rafa and del Potro is 5-3 for Rafa.

Rafa had no problems in 2nd Round at Wimbledon against Sweeting. He won in a three set match: 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday.

It was a match at Rafa`s discretion, who managed to conserve his energy for 3rd Round. And speaking of 3rd Round, in this phase Rafa will play against Gilles Muller of Luxemoburg. Surprising, the overall score between Rafa and Muller is tied at one. The victory of Muller against Nadal was here at Wimbledon in 2005.

Rafa started with the right foot his Wimbledon 2011 campaign. He won his 1st Round match against Michael Russell. 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 was the score after one hour and 58 minutes.

Easy match for Rafa and it is normal to be like that in the 1st Round, of course a Grand Slam is a important tournament and every match must be treated with attention no matter what the opponent is.

So, Rafa is in 2nd Round at Wimbledon, where he will play against Ryan Sweeting of USA. The overall score between Rafa and Sweeting is 2-0 for Rafa.

QQ means Queen`s quarters. Yes, Rafa is in quarterfinals at ATP Queen`s after a tough match against Stepanek. But Rafa managed to defeat him after a 3 set match: 6-3, 5-7, 6-1.

There were some problems at the end of the second set, where Rafa made some unforced errors, big presents made by Rafa to Radek, that is why Stepanek took the second set and forced Nadal to play a 3 set match. 

But all in all the most important thing is that Rafa is in quarterfinals, where he will play against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France. The overall score between Rafa and Tsonga is 5-1 for Rafa.

The first victory in 2011 for Rafa on grass was yesterday at ATP Queens against Matthew Ebden of Australia. Rafa won in straight sets: 6-4, 6-4.

In 4th Round, Rafa will play against Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic. 4-0 is the overall score between Rafa and Stepanek.

He did it again !!!

Even if Rafa had a slow start and some problems in the 3rd set, he did it again ! Rafa is once again champion at Roland Garros after he defeated Federer in final !

Rafa won in four sets against Roger: 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1 after a match who lasted more than three hours, playing not so good in the beginning, but after that slow start he had awsome shots !

It is the 6th title at R.G. and the 10th Grand Slam that Rafa won ! After this big result Rafa has the same nubmer of Roland Garros titles as Bjorn Borg ! Brilliant !!!

17-8 is now the overall score between Rafa and Federer. CONGRATULATIONS, RAFA !!!

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. There is nothing else to say. Once again in the last game, in a final, they meet again.

After a 3 set victory against Murray: 6-4, 7-5, 6-4, Rafa is once again in the final at Roland Garros. What a game we will have between Rafa and Federer.

Roger defetead Novak Djokovic in semis, in 4 sets and he will be a tough opponent for Rafa. But Nadal is strong and he never gives up that easy in a final, especially at Roland Garros.

Rafa is going to play for the title number 6 here. The overall score between Rafa and Federer is 16-8 for Rafa. Let`s win another match against Roger !

7-5, 6-3, 6-3 was the score for Rafa in the match that he played against Ljubicic. Good result in front of a tough opponent.

Rafa played very good against the croatian and it is very important to play better day by day at this tournament because strong opponents are waiting.

After this important victory, Rafa reached to quarterfinals where he will play against Robin Soderling. Strong rivality between Rafa and that player. This player is sooo unlikeable and Rafa MUST WIN this match !

In 2009, the swedish player eliminated Rafa from Roland Garros, but in 2010 Nadal won against Soderling in the final, playing very well, having an excellent serve.
