Rafa was eliminated by Rosol in second round at Wimbledon in 5 sets: 7-6, 4-6, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6.

Rafa@Wimbledon
Nadal is the second seed for Wimbledon 2012 and in first round he defeated Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil. Rafa won in 3 sets on Central Court: 7-6, 6-2, 6-3. As you can see he had a difficult first set when he was leaded 0-4 but he managed to recover and win on tie-break.
The next opponent for Nadal is Lukas Rosol of Czech Republic in second round. This will be the first match between them.

End of road at G.W. Open
Unfortunately Rafa was defeated by Philipp Kohlschreiber at Gerry Weber Open in straight sets: 3-6, 4-6.
The next tournament for Rafa is Wimbledon. Rafa won Wimbledon twice in 2008 against Federer and in 2010 against Berdych.

Rafa@Gerry Weber Open
First victory in 2012 for Rafa on grass. He defeated Lukas Lacko of Slovakia at Herry Weber Open in Halle. Rafa won in straight sets: 7-5, 6-1.
Rafa is present at Gerry Weber Open for the first time since 2005. After this victory, Rafa is in quarters where he will play against Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany.
The overall score is 8-0 for Rafa. Their last match was this year in Doha on hard, where Nadal won in 3 sets: 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.

Rafa - King at Roland Garros
Long live the king ! Long live the King of Clay !!! Rafa won Roland Garros for the 7th time. He defeated Novak Djokovic of Serbia in 4 sets: 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. This is the 11th Grand Slam crown for Rafa ! What a great performance !
After he won this final, Rafa is the first man in history to win 7 title here, definitely his favourite Grand Slam !

Rafa in RG final
Rafa lost only 5 games against David Ferrer in RG semifinal. Nadal won in 3 sets: 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 and lost only 35 games this year at Roland Garros.
Rafa said: "I'll be playing in a Grand Slam final, which is something quite special for me. This tournament is special for me. I'm really happy to reach the final. Considering what's happened so far, I'd say this tournament has been excellent for me. We'll see what happens next, what is going to happen during the final. If I were to win I'd be very happy, but the best thing for me is to reap the fruit of so many years of work."
In Roland Garros final, Rafa will play against Novak Djokovic of Serbia.
This will be the 4th final between them this year. Rafa won the last two finals, in Monte Carlo and Rome against Djokovic.
The overall score between Rafa and Djokovic is 18-14 for Rafa.

Rafa needed 2 hours and 46 minutes to win the quarters match against Nicolas Almagro of Spain: 7-6, 6-2, 6-3 and reached in last 4 at RG.
Rafa is the sixth player who has 50 victories at Roland Garros, the others are: Ivan Lendl, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, Guillermo Vilas and Nicola Pietrangeli. What an achievement for Rafa !
In semifinals, Rafa will play against another spanish player: David Ferrer. On head to head Rafa leads Ferrer 15-4. Their last match was this year at Internazionali BNL d`Italia where Rafa won in straight sets: 7-6, 6-0 after 2 hours and 6 minutes.

RG Quarterfinal
Rafa had no problem against Juan Monaco of Argentina in 4th round at Roland Garros. He won in 3 sets: 6-2, 6-0, 6-0 after one hour and 45 miuntes of play. Nadal lost at this Roland Garros only 19 games. Impressive !
After another strong victory, Rafa is in quarterfinals where he will play against Nicolas Almagro of Spain. On head to head, Rafa leads Almagro 7-0 ! Their last match was 2 years ago on the same tournament, Roland Garros when Nadal won in 3 sets: 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 after 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Unstoppable
Rafa defeated Schwank in 3 sets: 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 after 2 hours and 16 minutes of play. IN 3 matches at Roland Garros, Rafa lost 17 games without losing a set and he lost only a game on his serve against Simone Bolelli.
After this victory, Rafa is in 4th round in Paris and he will play against Juan Monaco of Argentina. On head to head Rafa leads Monaco, 3-1. Their last match was last year on Davis Cup when Rafa won in 3 sets: 6-1, 6-1, 6-2.
