Rafa won for the first time the Western & Southern Open trophy after he defeated John Isner of United States in straight sets: 7-6, 7-6 after one hour and 56 minutes of play.
This was the 26th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and 59th overall for Rafa ! Congratulations !!!
After the final, Rafa said: "It means a lot winning two straight titles on hard courts. It's just amazing for me. I never did something like this in my career. So, it is an emotional moment."
The next tournament in Rafa`s schedule is US Open. The tournament begins on August 26th.
