Another tough match for Rafa on grass at Mercedes Cup. This time against Bernard Tomic. Rafa managed to defeat the Australian player in 3 sets: 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 after 2 hours and 21 minutes of play.
In semifinals, Rafa will play against Gael Monfils of France. On head to head, Rafa leads Monfils: 10-2. Their last match was in 2014 at Australian Open, when Rafa won in straight sets: 6-1, 6-2, 6-3.
