The King of clay took another step forward at Internazionali BNL d`Italiaafter he defeated Tomas berdych of Czech Republic and he is now in semifinals.
Rafa won in straight sets: 6-4, 7-5 after 2 hours and 5 minutes of play. Nadal needed just one break in first set to win it (6-4) after 46 minutes.
The second set was more difficult than the first one, but Nadal stayed calm when he was leaded 2-4 by Berdych and managed to recover de difference.
In semifinals, Rafa will play David Ferrer of Spain. The overall score between Rafa and Ferrer is 14-4 for Rafa. Their last match was this year in Barcelona where Nadal won in straight sets: 7-6, 7-5 after 2 hours and 40 minutes of play.
